Afnionline ? Blog Archive ? Internet Business Coaching ? 5 Tips to ...

Article by Lillea Woodlyns

Internet business coaching can jumpstart your online business phenomenally.

Professional coaching can be pricey, yet one of the most common things you hear from successful marketers is that having a coach or mentor made a huge difference for their business. One of the greatest regrets they have is not getting it sooner.

Fortunately there are coaching options that are not as costly as exclusive one-on-one coaching. One of them is joining a paid internet business coaching forum.

If the forum is well run and active, there are many benefits. For example, you can get feedback from the coach(es) AND other forum members and also make connections to set up things like JV partnerships.

Although there are several good free marketing forums online, a good paid forum is much better when it comes to coaching. Why? Membership numbers are usually lower so more attention can be given to each person. Also the coach who runs the forum needs to provide value on a daily basis to keep members interested and paying the monthly fee.

How to Find a Good Coaching Forum

First figure out which marketers are worth paying attention to.

Take a bit of time with this step because top marketers are not always good coaches and may not have any clue about running a good paid membership forum.

5 Tips:

1. Ask for recommendations.

Join a few free internet marketing forums like the Warrior Forum and try to connect with other marketers on social sites like Twitter. Explain where you?re at and where you?d like to be. That way recommendations are more likely to be tailored to your needs.

2. Find out if the price is all-inclusive or if you have to pay extra for various features and services.

3. Have a look at sites that the coach/marketer operates.

Do you like the approach and style? Do they seem honorable? Explain things clearly? If they have an account on Twitter, are their tweets useful and interactive or do they mostly churn out sales pitches?

4. Connect with people who are active members of the coaching forum you?re interested in.

Some questions to ask:

- is the forum very active? do people usually get answers quickly, within 24-48 hrs?

- are the coaches available and answering questions regularly or it is mostly forum members?

- are there special members ? perhaps top marketers and experts ? who regularly contribute?

- are there special tools for members to create sites, research markets, etc?

- how has coaching helped them so far?

5. Allow a trial run of at least a month or two.

Don?t renew your membership if you aren?t satisfied with the help on the forum, but give the forum a chance to improve by stating your concerns respectfully in a post or private message.

Internet business coaching can give you a great return on your investment if you?re willing to do the research into options like paid coaching forums. With the right questions and care you can find a forum that best suits your needs, catapulting your business in ways that may astound you.
