And yeah. Not surprising at all.
For some reason, for like a year, I was ALWAYS targeted by the TSA. It has stopped (used some LOA on it) but this story kind of reminds me of something that happened to me.
I was on my way back from vacation. My siblings and I had bought some harry potter wands to bring home with us as souvenirs. I ended up with the suitcase that had it in there and they stopped me and went through my suitcase and all that cause they thought I had a knife.
I was pissed cause on the way to this vacation place, even though everyone in my family was carrying big textbooks in their suitcases for one of my siblings who was going to college, I was the only one who had my bag searched and re-scanned and yada yada (when I say that I was targeted by the TSA for every trip I made that year, I'm not kidding. Bag searches, pat downs, finger swipes, ANNOYING). I'm this tiny female!
Anyways, so after they realized that I didn't have a knife, they sent me on my way. It turns out that our flight got cancelled and we had to stay over another night. It was just one night so we didn't really go through our suitcases. I told one of my siblings - hey I don't want to get checked again - your turn! Let's switch suitcases. So we did. Guess what happened? My sib didn't get searched! And fortunately, neither did I
